Seven Loaves Ministries started as a home ministry in July 2012 by Ronnie and Evelina Burgess and their five children. The Lord has given the Burgess family a  servant's heart to prepare and serve fresh home cooked meals to the homeless initially outside the shelter, and eventually inside the shelter bi-monthly. In addition to meeting the residents physical needs, God provided Pastor Ronnie an opportunity to lead Worship Services inside The Community Center for Non-Violence (CCNV). God is moving mightily during services currently held in the  1 South Wing area of the building. Due to COVID, in-person services have been suspended. You are invited to partner with us in prayer for the many residents in the shelter who need our love and support as we remind them that God has not forgotten them! Please consider donating your time or talents to this wonderful ministry. You can volunteer by completing the form on the Contact page or by calling 240-462-6018. If you would like to make a financial contribution you can make a tax deductible donation on our donation page.

"For I was hungry, and you didn't feed me. I was thirsty, and you didn't give me anything to drink.  I was a stranger, and you didn't invite me into your home. I was naked, and you gave me no clothing. I was sick and in prison, and you didn't visit me. " Then they will reply, 'Lord, when did we ever see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and not help you?' And he will answer, "I assure you, when you refused to help the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were refusing to help me."
Matthew 25:42-45
